- Lead the branch - Keep daily operations running smoothly, safely and efficiently.
- Champion the client - Create helpful, welcoming experiences.

- Keep things moving - Ensure shipments are processed accurately, efficiently.
- Jump in - Support freight handling other branch needs.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport client shipments on time
- Safely operate company vehicles
- Conduct inspection of vehicles for mechanical operation and/or safety issues
- Review and Report daily/weekly/Monthly maintenance
- Immediately report defects/safety issues/maintenance needs, accidents or violations
- Document and log work/rest periods in accordance with regulatory requirements and/or company policies.
- Comply with laws/ regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
- Load and unload vehicles as required
- Collect and verify delivery instructions and shipment manifest
- Ensure pick up and delivery are done timely and efficient manner
- Communicate delays with the dispatch officer in a timely manner
- Use Chit Chats platform and other technology deemed necessary by the company to complete the trip.
- Work with supporting departments, such as compliance, branch staff,& warehouse staff in order to successfully complete trips.
Primarily at our Port Coquitlam location.

Qualifications
What You Bring
- 2+ years of retail, branch or customer service experience
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- A genuine passion for helping people
- A positive, proactive “let’s figure it out” attitude
- Computer and administrative skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain it during the course of employment
- Minimum three years commercial experience driving
- Clean CVOR (must report any major infractions at time of hire).
- Working knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, mechanical failure, weather conditions, etc.)
- Capacity for rapport and relationship building with supporting departments, partners and Border Officials
- Class 1 safety shoes required
Total Rewards and Compensation:
- Starting Pay Rate (Branch Lead): $19.00 per hour Driver Pay: $24.75 per hour
- Employer paid Group Benefits (Health, Dental and Vision; 80% coverage).
- Annual Year-End Bonus.

Responsibilities
Lead daily branch operations, support and motivate the team, provide welcoming client service, and ensure shipments are handled accurately and efficiently. As an on-call backup driver, transport shipments safely and on time, inspect and maintain vehicles, comply with regulations, and coordinate with dispatch and supporting teams.
Requirements
Candidates need at least two years of retail, branch, or customer service experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and computer and administrative abilities. The role also requires a valid driver's license, at least three years of commercial driving experience, a clean CVOR, knowledge of truck-driving regulations, and Class 1 safety shoes.
