We are looking for a Healthcare IT Cutover Coordinator (EHR Implementation) to join our team of consultants in our Montreal office on a permanent basis.
This is a hybrid position and will be performed in an English-speaking environment.
As a Chrome Technologies consultant, the successful candidate will work with our clients to deliver the projects they have entrusted to us.
Responsibilities
The Healthcare IT Cutover Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and tracking application decommissioning activities.
- Managing access to decommissioned applications.
- Coordinating the deactivation of application interfaces.
- Supporting patient number migration and conversion strategies.
- Supporting location migration strategies within the Arc application (CHR initiative).
- Coordinating application vendors during the cutover period, including:
- Activity planning and sequencing.
- Timeline management.
- RACI development and follow-up.
- Acting as the main liaison with the Connected Health Record (CHR) Cutover Lead.
- Supporting any other activities related to application cutover.
Cutover Planning & Execution
- Deliver all activities identified under this role.
- Coordinate application-related pre-go-live, go-live, and immediate post-go-live activities in collaboration with the CHR Cutover Lead, Digital Health teams, IT teams, vendors, and Santé Québec.
- Support project managers in developing and executing cutover plans.
- Maintain regular follow-up with the CHR Cutover Lead.
Project Coordination
- Work closely with Digital Health teams, IT teams, vendors, and Santé Québec to align cutover plans.
- Communicate milestones, timelines, expectations, and status updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate cutover meetings and readiness reviews.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts related to cutover activities.
- Develop mitigation plans and escalate issues when required.
- Monitor readiness checkpoints to ensure timelines remain on track.
Operational Readiness
- Ensure all stakeholders, including CIUSSS teams, vendors, Harris, and Santé Québec, understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Validate completion of all required cutover activities prior to go-live.
Reporting & Documentation
- Track and report cutover progress, risks, issues, and readiness status.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including cutover plans, playbooks, and lessons learned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing cutover activities for EHR implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
- Proven project management experience supporting large-scale system deployments.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex timelines in fast-paced go-live environments.
Preferred Qualifications (assets)
- Experience with EHR implementations in hospital or healthcare environments.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
