Part-Time Business Development Representative

Assante Wealth Management is seeking a confident, motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to support the growth of an established wealth management practice in Dorval.

The primary responsibility is outbound prospecting: contacting individuals and business owners from prospect lists provided by the practice, identifying qualified opportunities and securing introductory meetings with a Wealth Advisor.

What You Will Do

Make outbound calls to prospects from lists provided by the practice.
Engage prospects professionally, communicate the value of an introductory wealth-management discussion and identify potential fit.
Qualify prospective clients based on the practice's established criteria.
Schedule qualified introductory meetings directly or coordinate with the team for scheduling.
Follow the practice's scripts, processes and compliance requirements while developing a natural and effective calling style.
Follow up consistently with prospective clients as appropriate.

What We Are Looking For

Excellent spoken English is required; bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
Sales experience is preferred, ideally two or more years; candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong sales ability during the selection process.
Cold-calling or outbound prospecting experience is an asset.
Financial-services or financial-sales experience is preferred but not required.
Strong telephone presence, confidence, listening skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
Resilience and comfort handling rejection and objections.
Results orientation without sacrificing the quality of appointments.
Reliable, organized and comfortable working independently.
No specific post-secondary education requirement; demonstrated sales ability is more important.

Schedule & Work Arrangement

Permanent part-time position: 16 hours per week.
Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The first two weeks are fully in office in Dorval for onboarding, training and coaching.
After onboarding, the role becomes hybrid.

Compensation

$21-$25 per hour, based on experience, plus $150 for each qualified appointment that attends the scheduled meeting.

The employee will also be eligible for a discretionary semi-annual performance bonus based on overall performance.

Assante Gestion de patrimoine est à la recherche d’un(e) représentant(e) au développement des affaires confiant(e), motivé(e) et orienté(e) vers les résultats afin de soutenir la croissance d’une pratique bien établie de gestion de patrimoine à Dorval.

Ce que vous ferez

Effectuer des appels sortants auprès de prospects à partir des listes fournies par la pratique.
Échanger de façon professionnelle avec les prospects, communiquer la valeur d’une rencontre exploratoire en gestion de patrimoine et déterminer leur intérêt.
Qualifier les prospects selon les critères établis par la pratique.
Planifier les rencontres introductives qualifiées directement ou en coordination avec l’équipe.
Respecter les scripts, processus et exigences de conformité de la pratique tout en développant un style d’appel naturel et efficace.
Assurer un suivi régulier auprès des prospects lorsque cela est approprié.

Profil recherché

Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais parlé; le bilinguisme français-anglais constitue un atout.
Expérience en vente privilégiée, idéalement de deux ans ou plus. Les candidats ayant moins d’expérience pourraient être considérés s’ils démontrent de solides aptitudes en vente durant le processus de sélection.
Expérience en appels à froid ou en prospection sortante considérée comme un atout.
Expérience dans les services financiers ou la vente de produits financiers souhaitée, mais non obligatoire.
Excellente présence au téléphone, confiance en soi, capacité d’écoute et aptitude à établir rapidement un climat de confiance.
Résilience et aisance à gérer le rejet et les objections.
Forte orientation vers les résultats sans compromettre la qualité des rendez-vous obtenus.
Personne fiable, organisée et autonome.
Aucun diplôme postsecondaire spécifique n’est requis; les compétences démontrées en vente sont plus importantes.

Horaire et mode de travail

Poste permanent à temps partiel : 16 heures par semaine.
Du lundi au jeudi, de 16 h à 20 h.
Les deux premières semaines se déroulent entièrement au bureau de Dorval pour la formation, l’intégration et l’accompagnement.
Après cette période d’intégration, le poste devient hybride.

Rémunération

21 $ à 25 $ de l’heure, selon l’expérience, plus 150 $ pour chaque rendez-vous qualifié qui se présente à la rencontre prévue.
