What you'll be doing
Our Sales Reporting and Analysis team plays an important role in supporting variable compensation programs through accurate reporting, strong controls, and effective partner support. As a Business Analyst, you'll support the Manager, Sales Reporting and Analysis with the validation of sales for a seasoned Financial Planning Consultant sales force. You'll review and validate reported sales activity to ensure it is accurate, complete, and submitted on time, while aligning to the applicable compensation plan requirements. You'll conduct independent audits and pre-audits to confirm the appropriate actions have taken place for transactions to qualify for compensation. You'll also investigate potential discrepancies, prepare queries, and support reporting and communications for management and business partners. In everything you do, you'll help ensure regulatory requirements are met and that the integrity of the sales validation process is maintained.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You will have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $51,500 to $57,300.
The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.
In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.
We are committed to providing fair, equitable, and competitive compensation opportunities for all employees and we encourage open conversations about compensation throughout the recruitment process.
