What you'll be doing
The Employee Experience team plays a central role in shaping and elevating the end-to-end employee journey at CIBC. As an Employee Experience Co-op, you'll support projects that strengthen employee journeys across the enterprise by helping the team review programs, identify opportunities for improvement, and create more streamlined, meaningful experiences for employees. You'll contribute to research, reporting, presentation development, and content creation that supports both internal stakeholders and the broader employee experience strategy. You'll also help collect and analyze information, identify content and experience gaps, and support the design of clear, engaging materials for employees. This role gives you the opportunity to work with a wide range of partners, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and build practical experience in analysis, communications, and experience design.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you'll succeed
- Support project delivery - Coordinate day-to-day activities in support of employee experience initiatives, helping the team manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects.
- Analyze and organize information - Assist with research, reporting, and analysis to identify trends, content gaps, and opportunities to improve employee experiences.
- Create meaningful content - Help build presentations and content that support knowledge management, communication, culture, and enhance experiences across internal platforms.
- Collaborate with partners - Work closely with team members, people leaders, and stakeholders across the enterprise to support meetings, gather input, and move initiatives forward.
- Improve processes and workflows - Contribute ideas that help streamline content, enhance workflows, and improve how employees interact with tools, programs, and resources.
- Maintain operational excellence - Provide administrative and coordination support with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and proactive follow-through.
Who you are
- You have a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Organizational Behaviour, or a related field. You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies after your work term.
- You can demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.. It’s an asset if you have exposure to AI, Power Automate, or Power BI.
