At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 day per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.
Strategic planning - Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
Leadership skills - Act as an application developer and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals. Support peer developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

Must have 1–3 years of hands-on Databricks experience. It’s an asset if: You have knowledge of React, Agile, Azure, specifically Databricks, Elastic search, GraphQL and SOLID design principles.
