What you'll be doing

Simplii Financial is a modern, customer-first organization where growth is driven by insight, experimentation, and action. The Growth team works at the intersection of data, customer behaviour, and product performance to identify where friction is affecting the client experience, where opportunities exist, and what changes can improve engagement, conversion, and the quality of client relationships. As a Growth Analyst, you'll be embedded in a squad where you'll contribute to meaningful growth work across experimentation, lifecycle analysis, and conversion optimization. You'll help identify growth opportunities, support the design and execution of tests, and contribute to the analysis that turns data into actionable insight. You'll continue building your growth instincts and developing the skills to become a confident, independent growth practitioner. You'll be supported in your development by the Director, Growth, while remaining accountable to your squad and the outcomes it delivers.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

Signal Identification - Analyze customer data, behavioural patterns, and funnel performance to help identify growth opportunities. Build your ability to distinguish meaningful signal from noise and frame your findings in a way that supports squad decision-making.

Experimentation Support - Assist in the design and execution of growth experiments while developing your understanding of rigorous and reliable test design. Contribute to results analysis and help the squad understand what the data is showing.

Lifecycle and Conversion Analysis - Support growth initiatives across the customer lifecycle, including activation, engagement, retention, and conversion. Develop your understanding of how these stages connect and where the greatest opportunities for improvement may exist.

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work effectively with product, design, analytics, and marketing partners to support shared squad goals. Build strong working relationships and strengthen your ability to communicate findings clearly and influence decisions through analysis.

Outcome Awareness - Track the metrics relevant to your squad's growth work and deepen your understanding of what they mean for clients and the business. Build the habit of connecting experiments to outcomes and raising thoughtful questions when results are unclear.

Who you are

You have relevant experience. You bring 3 to 5 years of experience in growth, analytics, digital marketing, or a closely related field. Ideally, you have contributed to data-driven work in a cross-functional environment within financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.

You put our clients first. You understand that sustainable growth comes from improving the client experience. You keep the client perspective in mind as you analyze data, contribute to decisions, and raise concerns when a tactic may improve a metric at the expense of the experience.

You give meaning to data. You're curious, evidence-driven, and motivated to understand what the data is telling you. You ask thoughtful questions, explore patterns, and continue building your ability to turn insight into clear, actionable recommendations.

You are highly proficient in Excel. You can build well-structured financial models, run scenario analyses, and create clear, dynamic reports that others can follow and use. You are comfortable working with large data sets, using advanced formulas, and developing forecasting templates that connect data to decision-making. You are developing your speed and range, and Excel is one of the primary tools through which you do your best analytical work.

You know that details matter. You care about whether a test is well designed, whether the sample is meaningful, and whether the conclusion is supported by the data. Your attention to detail helps build trust in your analysis and recommendations.

You act like an owner. You take accountability for your scope, follow through on commitments, and ask for support when needed. You stay close to your work and take initiative to help move it forward.
