What you'll be doing

As the Senior Director, Platform Services, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the technology operations that underpin CIBC's business. You'll manage the financials of this team with a business owner lens and champion automation, AI, and 7x24 scale to ensure robust observability, controls, and application resiliency across all environments - from test to production. Building strong relationships with internal and external partners is key, as is managing communications during high-stress situations. Your leadership will drive innovation and continuous improvement to achieve best-in-class application availability.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Business Operations & Process Improvement – Sponsor and lead operational and process improvement initiatives, owning end-to-end efficiency and cost of processes while ensuring robust governance.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with partners across the organization, influence and align multiple stakeholders, and manage communications during crisis situations.
Risk, Compliance & Governance – Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and audit requirements, managing risk assessments and operational alternatives.
