Job Description

CIMA+’s Project Management team is at the forefront of delivering construction projects across a wide range of industries, including institutional and heritage buildings, healthcare, public transportation, energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing. We pride ourselves on creating tailored project management solutions, guiding each project from start to finish. With a collaborative, transparent approach, we deeply understand our clients' vision and provide agile, effective solutions to navigate the complexities and uniqueness of every project. Join us and immerse yourself in a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment where you’ll make a real impact. Together, we’ll push boundaries and go above what’s expected of us to meet the challenges of tomorrow and engineer a better world!

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and design of large‑scale projects for major clients in the Greater Montreal area. In this strategic role, you will oversee the full coordination of design activities with the client’s professional teams, manage communications, and handle all approval requests with government partners - including ministries, municipalities, and public agencies. You will also contribute to the preparation of the business case, providing essential expertise to support decision‑making and project advancement.

Given that this is a candidate pool, please be advised that the process may vary and is open-ended. Our Talent Acquisition team will review each application and contact you at the appropriate time, if applicable.

Primary Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and lead large‑scale projects from preliminary studies to final delivery, ensuring a comprehensive vision and rigorous execution
Ensure alignment of professional teams with client needs, quality objectives, and the established budget, while performing strategic monitoring of any variances
Support and advise stakeholders in identifying innovative solutions to ensure optimal project management and smooth execution
Act promptly on critical issues that may impact profitability, schedules, the supply chain, or deliverable quality, by engaging relevant stakeholders
Prepare, structure, and facilitate progress meetings with clients and internal and external partners, ensuring clear, transparent, and results‑oriented communication
Actively participate in operational and strategic activities related to project management, including process improvement, risk management, and performance monitoring

Qualifications

University degree in Architecture, Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), or any other relevant field
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction project management
Member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) or the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), required
PMP certification, an asset
Strong knowledge of the construction industry and project management best practices
Excellent communication skills in French, both written and spoken. Knowledge of English is considered an asset due to occasional interactions with CIMA+ stakeholders across Canada.
Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence

At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective. You think you can add value, but don't meet all the job requirements? We invite you to apply, because everyone has something unique to offer. The outstanding talents that choose to join us at CIMA+ soon realize that we go all out to encourage them to grow. We look forward to hearing how you can contribute to our success.

Why choose CIMA+? Because we offer you:

Comprehensive Group Benefits available from day one for all permanent employees working at least 20 hours per week

Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with up to 4% employer contribution
As an employee-owned company, an annual opportunity to purchase shares for all employees
Flexible work schedule in a hybrid work mode

3-5 weeks of vacation, based on years of relevant experience
Tailored training to improve your existing skills
