Electrical Journeyman

Role Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, and industrial settings. 
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. 
• Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with codes. 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions. 
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. 
• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently. 
• Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced electricians. 

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license. 
• Proven experience as an electrician in commercial, and/or industrial settings. 
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry. 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, and lifting. 
• Commitment to safety and compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
