Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL Class B dump trucks to transport aggregates, soil, asphalt, and other materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Load, haul, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite procedures
- Maintain accurate daily logs, load tickets, and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and crew members
- Navigate to job sites, including tight or challenging residential and commercial locations
- Assist with general labor tasks when needed on job sites
- Ensure truck cleanliness and basic daily maintenance
- Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, and the public
- Strong knowledge of safe truck operation and hauling practices
- Ability to operate manual transmissions (if applicable)
- Good understanding of construction site operations
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Time management and ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Valid CDL Class B license (Class A is a plus)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Previous dump truck or construction experience preferred
- Ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties as needed
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends during peak season
- Knowledge of local roads and jobsite navigation is a plus

- Pay for this position: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
