Apply advanced analytical knowledge, including statistical methodologies and predictive risk modelling to evaluate the effectiveness of countermeasures and Safe Mobility programs related to the 6 E’s of traffic safety (engineering, enforcement, education, engagement, evaluation, equity)
Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, reporting tools, and data platforms to support data sharing and transparent reporting
Prepare and deliver technical reports and summaries, presentations, and briefing notes for senior leadership, committees and City Council, and contribute to policy and corporate documents
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers and academic partners, to conduct road safety research and evaluate programs and emerging safety technologies
Support program evaluation and reporting requirements for automated enforcement and speed monitoring initiatives
Integrate lived-experience insights with quantitative data to drive well-rounded traffic safety recommendations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate data and visualizations to technical and non-technical audiences
Process Thinking and Decision Making: Demonstrated ability for logical process thinking and to apply sound judgement, utilizing balanced perspective taking to prepare and deliver thoughtful recommendations to support operational decision making. Proposed solutions are imaginative, thorough, practical, legal, and politically sensitive to the issues of traffic safety
Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, fostering relationships, and working collaboratively and inclusively with diverse stakeholders
