This is an excellent opportunity to join a team who are responsible for the maintenance, repair, registration, acquisition, and disposal of fleet vehicles and equipment as well as the training and legislative requirements around vehicle licensing, vehicle and equipment inspections, and Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration (CVOR).

310S Pay Rate: $43.29 - $44.69 hourly
310T Pay Rate: $43.79 - $45.17 hourly
Education
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in current motive power repair, fabrication and operating.
- Previous work experience in a mechanical area and must be mechanically inclined.
- Valid MTO Class DZ license in good standing or ability to acquire a DZ license within 6 months of hire.
- Valid Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Trades - 310T - Truck & Coach Technician, 310S - Automotive Service Technician, and/or 421A - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician will be considered.
- Must possess all hand tools applicable to the trade.
- Ability to work different shifts and on-call duties as required (Shift Premiums applied on top of base salary).
- Reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
- Overtime hours are available based on operational needs.

Responsibilities
Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment, and support fleet registration, acquisition, and disposal. Help meet vehicle licensing, inspection, training, and Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration requirements.
Requirements
A minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and at least three years of experience in motive power repair, fabrication, and operating are required. Applicants must hold an Ontario Certificate of Qualification in 310T, 310S, and/or 421A, possess applicable trade hand tools, and have a valid MTO Class DZ license or be able to obtain one within six months of hire.
