What you’ll be doing

We’re looking for a Program Coordinator to join our Workforce Development Team to support the day-to-day delivery of our workforce wage subsidy programs.

The Workforce Development Team works with employers, job seekers, government, and community partners to delivery programs that create employment opportunities through wage subsidies, bursaries, and training opportunities. The team works closely with federal and provincial funders to administer programs that help individuals gain meaningful work experience and skills.

The Program Coordinator is a key part of keeping these programs moving. The role combines day-to-day program coordination with direct support for employers and participants across Canada, including coordinating documentation and communications, tracking timelines and requirements, and helping resolve questions or issues as they arise. Working closely with the Program Lead, the Coordinator helps ensure programs are delivered accurately, consistently, and in accordance with established requirements.

The role is well suited to someone who is organized, dependable and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces. Strong communication and follow-through in both French and English are important, as is the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate an issue. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable and service-oriented with strong follow-through and a focus on providing responsive support to participants and employers. While this position operates primarily in English, the ability to communicate in French is preferred when interacting with select organizations.

You are a great fit if you have:

0-2 years of experience in program coordination, project support, or administrative roles.
Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience maintaining data systems and documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to travel as required for program delivery activities.
Experience working with youth, employers, or equity-seeking communities is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required background checks and vulnerable sector checks.
Strong preference given to candidates who are bilingual (French/English)

In this role you will be the key point of contact for wage subsidy program participants and employers, providing responsive and helpful support throughout the program lifecycle and ensuring program activities are delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with program requirements.

Primary responsibilities:

Manage the program inbox and respond to inquiries from participants, providing information, clarification, following up on outstanding items, and escalating questions or issues when needed.
Coordinate workforce program recruitment, onboarding, and placement activities for programs.
Support program applicants, participants, and employer partners throughout the program lifecycle.
Maintain accurate program records, databases, and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Collect and review required program documentation including contracts, payroll documentation, agreements, and compliance forms.
Monitor and support the funding eligibility process and reporting requirements.
Assist with program administration and implementation of established processes and procedures.
Support engagement activities such as events, site visits, webinars and meetings, including scheduling, communication, materials and follow-up.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective program delivery.

Other duties as assigned $57,550

A successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on various factors such as skills, experience, training, and credentials, as well as other business purposes or needs.
