About Cleer

Cleer is an AI-powered B2B SaaS platform for dental offices. Our system automates the admin work their teams hate, pulling information straight from insurers so staff aren't stuck on the phone for hours every day. We're built for the Canadian market, and nearly 300 dental offices and DSOs already run on Cleer. Once they start, they stick around (95%+ gross revenue retention), and we're growing fast.

The Role

Every day, our AI agents make hundreds of calls to insurers and turn the results into insurance breakdowns that dental offices use to treat patients and get paid. The Operations team is the human layer that keeps that system accurate.

As an Insurance Operations Specialist, you'll review automated breakdowns before they reach offices, call insurers yourself when an agent can't complete a call, and investigate issues reported by offices so they get fixed at the root. You'll report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the product team, whose roadmap is shaped by what Operations finds.

This is an in-office role, every day, in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

What you'll do

Review automated insurance breakdowns for accuracy and completeness before they're delivered to dental offices
Call insurers directly to complete verifications and follow-ups when our agents can't (unreachable lines, unusual plans, complex questions)
Investigate issues reported by offices, resolve them, and document the outcome
Identify patterns in errors and failed calls and escalate them to the product team so they're fixed upstream
Contribute to improving the QA process as call volume grows

What we're looking for

Extremely detail-oriented. You catch the small mistakes others skim past.
Comfortable on the phone. Hold queues, gatekeepers, and unhelpful reps don't faze you.
Curious about why something broke, not just that it did.
Clear communicator, in writing and on a call.
Organized and comfortable with digital tools (Google Workspace, Notion, spreadsheets).
Early career or recent grad. No dental or insurance experience required; we'll train you. Experience in a dental or medical office, insurance, or a high-accuracy operations role is a bonus.
Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift.
Legally able to work in Canada.

Compensation

$54,000–$60,000 base salary
Minimum three weeks paid vacation
