A $3,500 signing bonus will be paid after the 3-month probationary period. We’re looking for all-star licensed automotive mechanic talent to help ensure that all of our vehicles are up to our high mechanical standards. Working alongside our reconditioning team, you will perform vehicle inspections, maintenance work, and repairs across a range of systems.

Communicate vehicle status, repair needs, and completion timelines
Use diagnostic tools and shop systems (e.g., Google Drive, Slack)
Contribute to continuous improvement of mechanical procedures
Metrics/measurement of success include inspection thoroughness, repair quality, safety compliance, turnaround time, and documentation accuracy

What we’re looking for:

310S Red Seal or equivalent certification or training
Experience working with a variety of car brands (domestic, import & European)
Team player above all else
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
Desire to learn new skills
Comfortable using technology (Google Drive, Slack, etc.)

Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs

Ability to work independently and with a team
Working conditions in a shop environment
You will be required to wear CSA-approved safety footwear (green triangle, Grade 1) and other required PPE when on the job, and in other designated areas. Clutch will supply PPE and partial reimbursement toward the purchase of approved footwear.

Why you’ll love it at Clutch:

Autonomy & ownership – opportunity to build your process and influence the company workforce at every level
Help shape the future of car buying and selling in Canada by leading a critical part of our vehicle quality process
Broad and direct ownership over mechanical standards and vehicle readiness during a phase of rapid growth
Dedicated to attracting and retaining top talent with top-of-market compensation packages
Above market health & dental benefits

Employment Type:

Compensation & Benefits:

Wage: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour
