Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for implementing technology in accordance with enterprise architecture roadmaps. Services provided include producing roadmaps and structuring and organizing design, development, engineering, and integration services for the delivery of operationally viable solutions, including application, infrastructure, network, or operational technology solutions. This role mobilizes the required human and financial resources while ensuring technology solutions meet performance, security, availability, reliability, and operational requirements. The position supports the Operational Technology Automated Inspection Solution domain.

Main Responsibilities

Project Delivery

Contribute to delivery proposals by providing resource and cost estimates based on business requirements
Support the Project Manager in managing scope, schedule, and budget, and act as an escalation path when required
Ensure delivery of the expected scope and business value while effectively managing stakeholder expectations
Confirm resources to work on projects or work with designated resource managers to secure required resources
Manage delivery team performance, including vendor performance when vendors are involved
Support the delivery team by addressing issues and roadblocks and determining appropriate resolutions through root cause and impact analysis
Support Procurement and Supply Management in defining new Statements of Work

Leading Others

Focus on communications and foster collaboration by encouraging teams to work together to accomplish common goals
Manage employee performance
Participate in succession planning by contributing to the yearly talent review cycle
Support employee development and help employees reach career goals
Ensure knowledge is preserved through training and knowledge sharing
Work with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition on recruitment needs

Practice Evolution

Support Product Management in defining product roadmaps
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Review and monitor performance metrics and proactively identify initiatives to improve delivery precision and quality while reducing costs

Working Conditions

The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday and is eligible to participate in CN's hybrid work model. The role involves managing priorities and delivering work within established timelines, with support from the team to ensure sustainable and effective workload management.Requirements

Experience

Information and Technology, Operational Technology, Automated Inspection Solutions, Delivery Management

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in IT management
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in an infrastructure, telecommunications, or technology field
Experience managing a team of at least 10 people
Experience with complex integration projects involving multi-vendor components and delivery organizations
Experience delivering automated solutions using machine learnin*
Candidates with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered

Education/Certification/Designation

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience
