Original job description

Company Description CNG Paints provides trusted interior and exterior painting services, delivering high-quality results for residential, commercial, and real estate clients. Using a Precision Painting Process, the team focuses on efficiency, consistency, and visually impressive finishes that help properties stand out. Services range from interior room transformations to exterior enhancements, including doors, fences, and full-home makeovers. The Windsor franchise proudly serves communities across Windsor and Essex County, supporting customers who are moving, upgrading, or preparing properties for sale.

Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Painter role based in Windsor, ON, with some tasks that can be completed from home, such as project planning and documentation. The Painter will perform day-to-day painting duties, including surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, patching), priming, and applying paint and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces. Responsibilities include following project specifications, mixing and matching colors, using brushes, rollers, and sprayers, and maintaining tools and equipment in safe working order. The Painter will help ensure a clean, organized worksite, adhere to safety standards, communicate with clients and team members about project progress, and support the delivery of high-quality, on-time painting services.

Qualifications

Experience working with paint and coatings, including mixing, color matching, and proper application techniques.
Skills in Painting and Decorating, with an eye for detail, clean lines, and high-quality finishes.
Hands-on experience in Painting and Spray Painting for both interior and exterior surfaces.
Knowledge of surface preparation methods and familiarity with different substrates (drywall, wood, masonry, metal).
Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, or specifications, and manage time across multiple projects.
Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of ladders, scaffolding, personal protective equipment, and ventilation.
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work at heights for extended periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach and professional conduct on-site.
Previous experience in residential or commercial painting is preferred; trade certification or apprenticeship training is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in Windsor and Essex County.
