Ag Solutions

Summer Student Ebenezer Crop Inputs

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in agriculture to gain hands-on experience, spend time in the field, work alongside our Ag team, and build practical skills that connect directly to local producers and our communities.

Who we are: Legacy Co-op is a dynamic retail Co-operative serving multiple communities throughout Parkland Saskatchewan. As a family-oriented employer, we offer competitive wages, a strong benefits package, and a superb pension plan.  We encourage our Team Members to take advantage of learning opportunities, grow, and develop, and help foster a culture of teamwork and innovation. With over 80 years of history in our communities, we are proud to be a well-established and stable business rooted in Southeast Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do: Working with our Agro Manager you will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:

  • Work with our agronomist and sales team while learning about crop planning, troubleshooting, fertility, and crop protection recommendations.
  • Build confidence working directly with customers, producers, and internal team members.
  • Assist with general inquiries, transactions, and daily operational support.
  • Support field trials and gain real-world exposure to crop production and agronomy work.
  • Take part in training and development opportunities, with potential to grow into future opportunities with the Riverbend Ag team.
  • Other duties as required.

Who you are: You’re curious about agriculture, enjoy learning by doing, and are interested in building experience in a hands-on role. You also bring:

  • Current enrolment in post-secondary education in Agronomy, Ag Business, Plant Science, Soil Science, or a related program.
  • Previous agriculture experience is an asset, but a willingness to learn and get involved is just as important.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
