Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an AVP, People Strategy & Experience on a permanent basis on our People & Culture team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and can be based in Saskatoon or Regina.

This is a great opportunity to shape the future of work at an enterprise level. As the Associate Vice President, People Strategy & Experience, you’ll provide enterprise leadership across talent, culture, employee experience and organizational effectiveness, translating business priorities into integrated people strategies that deliver meaningful results.

Working alongside senior executives and business leaders, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor, translating business priorities into forward-looking workforce and talent strategies that build organizational capability and create meaningful employee experiences.

What you’ll do:

In this role, your impact extends across the broader Co-operative Retailing System (CRS), supporting both FCL and our local Co-ops to drive alignment and shared successes.

Shape and execute enterprise people strategy, translating business priorities into integrated workforce, talent, culture and organizational capability strategies that position the organization for long-term success.
Lead the future of our workforce, setting the strategic direction for workforce planning, organizational effectiveness and design, skills and capability planning, and strategies that address emerging workforce needs and risks.
Ensure employee experience, culture, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and total rewards strategies operate as integrated across the employee life cycle. Champion the embedding of diversity, inclusion, accessibility, belonging and wellbeing principles in people strategies, programs and decisions.
Advance talent, leadership and employee experience, ensuring talent, succession, leadership development, culture, inclusion, wellbeing and total rewards strategies work together to create a compelling and future-focused employee experience.
Provide strategic leadership and trusted counsel, advising senior leaders on complex people and organizational matters while leading and developing People & Culture leaders to strengthen accountability, collaboration and performance.
Drive alignment, insights and measurable outcomes, bringing together priorities across People & Culture, using data and analytics to inform decisions, manage enterprise risks and interdependencies, and ensure strategies deliver sustainable value.

Who you’ll work with:
You’ll lead the Director, HR Business Partnering and Director, Talent, Culture & Inclusion, and provide strategic direction to their teams across HR Business Partnering, Diversity, Inclusion & Employee Wellbeing, Total Rewards and Employee Experience. You’ll work closely with People & Culture leaders and senior business leaders across the organization, building strong partnerships to align people strategies with business priorities and advance enterprise-wide outcomes.

Who you are:

Have 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 8+ years in leadership.
Have a CPHR designation, or equivalent professional HR designation.
Experience leading people strategy, workforce planning, talent, organizational effectiveness and change.
Proven ability to advise and influence senior leaders in complex environments.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, change leadership and data-informed decision-making.
Experience with people analytics, workforce intelligence or skills-based practices is an asset
