Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Content Creator (Professional Services). This position is onsite at our Administrative Office in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. If you are creative, outgoing, and social media savvy then Lake Country Co-op is looking for you. Lake Country Co-op is deeply routed in the communities we serve; we want someone who can capture that connection – our people, products, in-store moments, events, and local involvement through photo and video. You will spend time both behind the camera and out in our stores and communities, turning everyday moments into content people want to watch, share, and engage with.

Who You’ll Work With: Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Community Relations and working closely with the Marketing team, this position will help bring our brand to life across social media through creative, timely, authentic, and locally relevant content.

What You Will Do:
•Capture the good stuff -Take photos and videos of our people, products, services, locations, events, promotions and community moments that showcase what makes Lake Country Co-op unique.
•Create and publish daily content – Develop, edit, write, schedule, and publish engaging videos, stories, static posts, product features, behind-the-scenes content, and other social media content across our channels.
•Find the stories – get out into our locations and communities to connect with team members, customers, members, and community partners and identify authentic stories worth sharing.
•Stay current – keep up with social media trends, emerging platform features, popular content styles, and creative approaches, and find relevant ways to bring them to life on our channels.
•Collaborate and plan – work alongside the Marketing team to develop content plans, gather information, brainstorm concepts, storyboard ideas, and support marketing campaigns and priorities.
•Bring your creativity – pitch new ideas, experiment with different approaches, and bring your own energy and perspective to how we tell the Lake Country Co-op story.
•Protect our brand – ensure all content aligns with Lake Country Co-op’s brand standards and follows privacy, safety, confidentiality, and approval guidelines.
•Support the team – assist with other marketing and content-related projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking to build a career in marketing, social media, and content creation and are excited to learn, grow, and develop your skills and meet the following:
•Bring at least one year of experience in social media, marketing, communications, content creation, photography, videography, or a related area.
•Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field is considered an asset, but we also value hands-on experience and a strong creative portfolio.
•Comfortable behind the camera capturing photos and video, and you’re not afraid to jump in front of it when the content calls for it.
•Experience with content creation and editing tools and can turn raw photos and footage into polished, engaging social media content.
•Understand platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and have a good sense of trends, short-form video, and what makes people stop scrolling.
•Creative and full of ideas, but you can also take direction, feedback, and a concept and turn it into something great.
•People person who is comfortable approaching and interacting with team members, customers, members, and community partners.
•Organized and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and content needs while adapting when something timely comes up.
•Collaborative team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
•Carry a valid Class 5 Drivers licence and are comfortable travelling to Lake Country Co-op locations and community events as required.
