What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Lumber Manager, the job duties include:

• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner. 

• Sweeping yard regularly or as the need dictates. Must ensure the yard, warehouse and public areas are free of boxes, obstructions, and litter, at all times.

• Be familiar with and adhere to Prairie Sky Co-op policies and procedures and hold responsibility in the area of loss prevention. 

• Provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the consumer. 

• Deliver product, as directed by the manager, in a professional and efficient manner.

• Ensure all product is signed and/or priced. Ensure that all product is contained in its allocated space or stored appropriately. 

• Assist in the unloading of a variety of building materials.

• Other duties as assigned

Who you are:

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• You have, or have the ability, to obtain a forklift license 

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy items

• A 3A license would be considered an asset
