The Risk Management & Insurance Consultant role is responsible to identify and assess complex risk factors and specific loss exposures applicable to individual clients. Develop and deliver a customized insurance and risk management solution in a comprehensive package of customized specialty products and services.

How you will create impact:

Direct the development of customized insurance and risk management proposals that are appropriate for the risk profile and needs of each client.
Provide single-policy integrated multi-line insurance solutions that cover both TCUBP(The Credit Union Bonding Program) and CUPAC(Credit Union Property and Casualty) programs.
Direct the development and communicate plain language proposals and risk management plans based on the client's level of involvement and comprehension of the insurance and risk issues.
Deliver presentations to senior management or Board regarding risk assessment and insurance related issues.
Provide oversight on accounts to ensure individual credit union insurance plans are meeting their needs and risk management programs are implemented on credit union accounts of asset size greater than $200 Million. Implement RSG ( Risk solution group) commercial insurance underwriting strategies and operational guidelines including policy insurance criteria for individual and master policy levels.
Work with RSG Risk Management team to develop and deliver value-added material and services to support our role as the trusted technical advisor to the credit union system, including self-assessment and loss control tools, coverage summaries and bulletins and plain-language risk assessment and coverage information.
Provide feedback and support for future development of new risk and insurance products and services, working with the RSG (Risk Solution Group) Commercial Program Manager and the RSG (risk Solution Group) Risk Management team.
Identify potential gaps in products or services based on feedback from policyholders. Propose solutions that could be adopted for the wider program.

You have a university degree or equivalent experience
You have a CIP designation.
You have experience in specialized insurance and risk management knowledge.

Expected salary range $72,847 - $121,411

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
