310T Mechanic / Technician – Qualifications

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License
• Demonstrated interest or experience in diesel, coach, or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair processes (level of depth aligned with experience)
• Knowledge of or exposure to Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to troubleshooting
• Willingness to learn and actively participate in apprenticeship training and mentorship programs
• Basic computer proficiency (experience with systems such as Fleet Focus or digital work order platforms is considered an asset)
• Valid driver’s license; commercial license (BZ or higher) considered an asset or willingness to obtain
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and working in various shop conditions
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
• Ability to meet all requirements of a safety-sensitive position, including participation in the Company’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Program (pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable cause, and random testing, where applicable)
