Join Our Team as Store Manager!

We're a locally owned, community-focused grocery store in the friendly town of Agassiz, and we're looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our team. If you enjoy being involved in all aspects of store operations, take pride in building a strong team, and are passionate about community and customer service - we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do:

1. Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, ensuring a well-run, efficient and welcoming shopping environment
2. Lead, coach and support employees across our Grocery, Produce, Bakery and Meat departments
3. Hire, train, schedule and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive workplace
4. Oversee inventory management, merchandising and shrink control
5. Maintain high standards of freshness, presentation and store cleanliness
6.  Work alongside your team stocking shelves, assisting customers and stepping in wherever needed
7. Build strong relationships with customers and maintain the friendly, personal service our community values
8. Identify opportunities to improve store operations, increase sales and enhance the customer experience
9. Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety and company policies
10. Lift up to 50 lbs. as part of your daily responsibilities

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous grocery retail management experience, with a strong understanding of store operations
2. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
3. Experience managing sales, schedules and inventory
4. Strong problem-solving skills
5. A hands-on leadership style and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. A commitment to outstanding community and customer service
8. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends as required
9. Legally eligible to work in Canada
