Role Overview: Responsible for courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, ensuring shipments meet service standards and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate vehicles, plan efficient routes, and maintain proper security of packages, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Accurately select, inspect, and report on packages, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems, and respond to customer inquiries about services and regulations.
  • Assist with loading/unloading aircraft or containers and sorting packages as needed.
  • Identify sales opportunities and communicate leads to the sales team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
  • Proficiency in features of service, operating procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Bilingual in English and French preferred; ability to work independently and handle stressful environments.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of driver assessments, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining certifications. Candidates must demonstrate good driving history and be willing to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities
