As a Sales Assistant at COBS Bread, you will:
- Work as part of a small team, providing exceptional customer service, and getting to know your regular customers
- Be responsible for merchandising product and executing marketing campaigns
- Also work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and assist with production as needed

Requirements
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Strong customer service focus and ability to multitask
- Experience in handling cash, credit card and debit transactions are preferred
- Relevant retail experience is a strong asset
- Positive attitude, high energy, smile all day, and friendly demeanour
- Reliability and self-motivation, and enjoy learning new skills
- A team player who is approachable, social and enjoys working with people
- Takes pride in providing a great and personable experience for our customers
- Must have their own transportation to and from work
- Only non-smoker / non-vaping candidates will be considered
- Continuous standing/ walking for all tasks
- Constant use of both hands, and frequent forceful gripping
- Continually operating the POS tablet system
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending and turning
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level

Responsibilities
Provide friendly, personalized customer service, build relationships with regular customers, and handle sales transactions. Merchandise products, execute marketing campaigns, maintain bakery cleanliness, and assist with production as needed.
Requirements
Candidates should have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask and work well with a team; retail and transaction-handling experience are preferred but not required. Applicants must have their own transportation, be available for weekend and statutory holiday shifts, and meet the role's physical demands; only non-smoking and non-vaping candidates will be considered.
