Original job description

You know baking is more than just following a recipe.

You understand dough development, fermentation, proofing, timing, consistency, and the satisfaction of pulling a perfectly baked loaf from the oven.

At COBS Bread Driftwood Mall, we're looking for an experienced Baker to join our team and help produce the fresh breads and baked goods our customers enjoy every day.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality, works well with a team, and enjoys the fast pace of a commercial bakery.

Maintaining product quality, consistency, and presentation standards

Managing production schedules to ensure fresh products are ready throughout the day

Receiving, rotating, and handling ingredients and supplies

Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards

Working closely with fellow Bakers and bakery staff to keep production running smoothly

Why You'll Enjoy Working Here

Work with a team that genuinely enjoys what they do
Create products from scratch every day
Stable year-round employment
Staff discounts on fresh baked goods
Opportunities for advancement and leadership development
Be part of a locally owned bakery that is active in the community

A Few Things You Should Know
