You will translate business priorities into practical people strategies across workforce planning, employee relations, talent, organizational effectiveness and change.
You will bring sound judgment, courage and a people-first approach - confidently coaching and challenging leaders while remaining close enough to the business to turn strategy into meaningful action.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with business and executive leaders, providing strategic advice, coaching and constructive challenge.
- Lead complex employee-relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, conflict resolution and terminations.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management and employee engagement.
- Support organizational change, restructures and workforce transitions with empathy, clarity and appropriate risk management.
- Interpret employment legislation, company policies and HR best practices to guide fair, consistent decisions.
- Use workforce data and insights to identify trends, strengthen talent decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Develop thoughtful change and communication strategies that help employees and leaders navigate business transformation.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to support workforce needs and an inclusive, candidate-focused recruitment experience.
- Contribute to HR programs, policies, communications and process improvements that strengthen the employee experience.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Three to five years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful employee-relations and HR business-partnering responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience directly supporting, advising and influencing executive leaders within an HR role.
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and employee-relations practices.
- Experience coaching leaders through complex, sensitive and high-impact people decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, hands-on execution.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Sound judgment, discretion and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience supporting a technology client group.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- CHRP or CHRL designation, or progress toward certification.
- French-language capability.
- Join a local, family-owned business that’s part of a globally recognized brand, where you can develop your capabilities, competencies, and career.
- Coke Canada has a culture of learning, and we offer several channels to support your development, including on-the-job training and a library of free courses for just-in-time learning.
- We are committed to offering a comprehensive benefits package designed to help our employees achieve their best physical, mental, financial, and overall health and well-being. This includes a competitive compensation package, access to retirement and saving programs, family and employee assistance program, paid vacation and floater days.
- We have close, local connections with the communities in which we operate across Canada. We’re determined to make a positive difference in our communities; this includes opportunities for employee volunteerism.
- We’re building our business responsibly and our mission is to work Toward a Better Future Together. We have a plan that outlines how we are reducing, reusing, recycling, decreasing our carbon footprint, and using water responsibly. For more information visit cokecanada.com/sustainability/
