Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities that will fall to you:

  • Define and evolve the vision, strategy, principles and standards of architecture of software solutions and their integration;
  • Assist architects and business analysts in the analysis of needs and the choice of technological solutions;
  • Design and recommend integrated solution architectures that meet functional and technological needs;
  • Evaluate the various solution options, including custom development, software packages and cloud solutions;
  • Define integration mechanisms between applications, operational systems and external data;
  • Ensure consistency and interoperability of solutions across multi-platform and hybrid environments;
  • Produce estimates for the development, acquisition, implementation and integration of solutions;
  • Collaborate with the development teams and the various stakeholders to ensure compliance with the architecture guidelines;
  • Acts as a consultant to senior management on architecture and technology directions, as required.

The Profile We Are Looking For Is As Follows

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or compensate for the lack of a degree with six (6) additional years of experience in IT;
  • Have a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in information technology;
  • Have at least five (5) years of experience as a solution architecture consultant, as well as five (5) years in modeling, development and integration of software solutions;
  • Have participated in at least one (1) 1,000-person-day mandate involving the delivery of integrated application solutions in a complex context;
  • Have at least two (2) years of experience with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS or CaaS cloud solutions, in an Azure or AWS environment;
  • Have completed, as a solution architecture consultant, two (2) projects of at least 2,000 person-days, including at least one in Agile mode, in multiplatform and cloud environments;
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, or Dynamics 365 (asset);
  • Have participated in an Agile development project or have completed a mandate of at least six (6) months in a government or paragovernmental organization (asset);
  • Be familiar with IT asset operations and support processes, including service levels, criticality, recovery plans, and uCMDB (asset).
