Automation Test Lead

We’re looking for an Automation Test Analyst to build and maintain regression coverage for high-volume logistics and tracking platform.

You’ll work with an existing in-house automation framework. This is a test-authoring and triage role, not a framework-development role.

What you’ll do

• Write and maintain automated regression test cases
• Run test suites against shared staging environments
• Triage failures using diagnostics, logs, DLQs, and correlation IDs
• Write SQL queries to verify PostgreSQL data
• Use AWS CloudWatch to investigate application behaviour
• Make small Java changes to add standardised log markers
• Keep tests isolated, reliable, traceable, and aligned with requirements
• Take ownership of test-suite health, coverage, and maintenance
• Identify coverage gaps, flaky tests, design issues, and unexpected behaviour
• Report defects and escalations clearly, with enough evidence for developers to act

What you need

• Experience authoring and maintaining automated tests using an existing framework
• Working SQL and PostgreSQL skills
• Working-level Java skills
• Experience reading application logs; AWS CloudWatch preferred
• Understanding of asynchronous and event-driven systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Clear written communication
• Ability to work independently across time zones
• A strong sense of ownership: you follow failures through, keep suites dependable, and raise issues proactively
• Curiosity: you investigate why something failed rather than stopping at the first symptom

Nice to have

• CI/CD experience
• Familiarity with SNS, SQS, or other message-driven systems
• Experience with shared test environments and test-data isolation
• Logistics or high-volume transactional systems experience
