Rôle régulier, à temps plein, basé à Fatima, QC.

Nature de l’emploi

Le titulaire réalise des travaux d’installation, de débranchement et de réparation des services du câble et Internet chez le client, tout en optimisant toutes les opportunités pour faire la promotion et la vente des produits et services offerts par l’entreprise.

Attitude client

Dans tous ses contacts avec la clientèle, le titulaire de l’emploi offre un service hors pair et une attitude client qui incitera toute personne à choisir Cogeco Connexion comme unique fournisseur de ses services de télédistribution et d’Internet. Le titulaire doit être attentif et à l’écoute des besoins de la clientèle, il doit répondre de façon proactive et empathique à toute question et problème soulevés, tout en offrant un service professionnel et des réponses adaptées aux besoins du client. Il met en valeur les avantages indéniables de la télévision et des services Internet par câble.
Le titulaire du poste doit avoir le souci constant que l'exécution de son travail appuie l'objectif ultime qui est d'offrir un excellent service à la clientèle actuelle et potentielle de l’entreprise.

Principales responsabilités

Effectue l’installation des équipements requis pour le raccordement du réseau de distribution aux appareils de la clientèle. S’assure du bon fonctionnement des équipements en place ou équipements installés.
Effectue l’installation, le débranchement, la relocalisation, le déménagement ou la récupération chez les abonnés des équipements ou appareils et effectue le remplacement du fil de service lorsque requis.
Déploie les efforts requis pour assurer la rétention des clients qui expriment le désir d’annuler leur abonnement ou de réduire leur niveau de service.
Effectue le pré-filage et la pose de la boîte d’accès dans les édifices à logements multiples.
Informe son supérieur immédiat et le Centre de gestion du réseau (CGR) des besoins d’entretien ou de réparation du réseau de distribution lorsque les standards ne peuvent être atteints.
Analyse les problèmes et procède aux réparations nécessaires au système d’embranchement ou de raccordement.
Effectue lorsque requis des travaux d’entretien ou de réparations sur les équipements ou accessoires qu’il installe. Lorsque requis, remplace la plaque de toute prise multiple défectueuse.
Peut être appelé à aider les employés affectés à la pose ou la relocalisation de lignes maîtresses ou de lignes de distribution et peut être appelé à aider à la pose des pièces électroniques qui sont associées à celles-ci. Peut être appelé à participer à la préparation de ces pièces en atelier.
Occasionnellement, peut être appelé à aider les employés affectés à des travaux d’entretien, de réparation ou de mise en marche de lignes maîtresses, de lignes de distribution ou d’autres composantes de l’infrastructure.
Complète ou rédige certains rapports, formulaires ou autres documents relativement au travail effectué.
Recueille les informations nécessaires à l’estimation des coûts d’installation.
Lorsque requis, participe à la formation d’un nouvel employé.
Assume toutes autres tâches s’assimilant aux principales responsabilités mentionnées à la présente description d’emploi. Celle-ci est indicative et non limitative. Exigences

Détenir une des 3 exigences académiques suivantes:
DEC ou AEC en électronique, en télécommunications, en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe
DES + DEP en électronique, en électricité, en installation d’équipements de télécommunications, en réparation de petits électroménagers ou dans un domaine connexe
DES avec 5 ans d’expérience en installation-service dans une entreprise de télécommunications
Les candidats doivent posséder un permis de conduire valide.
Le candidat retenu devra réussir un processus de vérification préalable à l'emploi, comprenant notamment une vérification des antécédents judiciaires, un examen médical et la vérification de son dossier de conduite, pour être admissible au poste.

Horaire de travail

Le poste est basé à Fatima.
La semaine normale de travail est de 37.50 heures réparties du dimanche au samedi inclusivement. Les heures doivent se situer entre 7h30 et 21h00 du lundi au vendredi inclusivement et entre 8h00 et 17h00 les samedis et dimanches.
Le salaire est celui de la classe 1 du Service technique et varie de 25,15 $ à 39,03 $. Le titulaire relève du directeur adjoint, Opérations techniques de la région concernée ou de toute autre personne déterminée par l’employeur.

Responsibilities

Install, disconnect, relocate, and repair cable and Internet equipment and connections at customer locations, ensuring equipment functions properly and reporting network maintenance needs. Provide responsive customer service, promote company products, support customer retention, document completed work, and assist with training and network infrastructure tasks as needed.

Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the listed education or experience pathways: a college diploma or certificate in electronics, telecommunications, computer science, or a related field; a high school diploma plus a relevant vocational diploma; or a high school diploma with five years of telecommunications installation-service experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and the successful candidate must pass pre-employment background, medical, and driving-record checks.
