Senior Angular Developer (Java & Node.js)

About The Role

As a Senior Angular Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and enhancing scalable web applications and data integration solutions that support critical business processes. You will be a valued member of the development team and collaborate closely with architects, engineers, product stakeholders, and partner technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions for enterprise banking environments.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Angular, Node.js, and Java.
• Build and enhance data integration and synchronization solutions that enable reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner applications to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Develop front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership, coding standards, and architecture discussions.
• Document application designs, technical decisions, and implementation approaches to support long-term maintainability.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Angular, Node.js, and Java.
• Strong expertise in modern Angular development, including NgRx, RxJS, Signals, and Nx.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with Java/Spring Boot services.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework, including Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices for web applications and APIs.
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with distributed teams.

• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native development practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes.
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, IntelliJ IDEA, and GitHub Copilot. [
• Experience working within banking, financial services, or highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Relevant certifications in Angular, Java, cloud technologies, or related technical disciplines.

Salary Transparency (Canada)

The annual salary for this position is between CAD $61,500 and CAD $104,500 depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law.
