Collaborate with development and business teams, contribute Insurance or Wealth Management domain expertise, and provide meaningful quality metrics and status updates to senior stakeholders.

Work Model

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario. Strong proficiency in Java, including Streams, Lambdas, Collections, and modern design patterns.
Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks.
Strong experience using Playwright for UI automation, API testing, and backend validation.
Strong manual testing capabilities, including test design, execution, functional validation, and defect lifecycle management.
Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines, along with a solid understanding of test data management and automation best practices.
Proven ability to lead testing activities independently and drive deliverables through successful completion.
Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and collaboration skills, including experience producing QA metrics, status reports, and executive-level quality updates.

These will help you stand out

Domain knowledge in Insurance and/or Wealth Management.
Working knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, and AWS S3.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
Exposure to enterprise-scale testing programs and digital transformation initiatives.
