Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Foreign Exchange Teller role based in Mississauga, ON. The Foreign Exchange Teller will assist customers with buying and selling cryptocurrency and foreign currencies, process cash and electronic payments, and verify identification and transaction details in line with compliance requirements. This role includes accurately handling cash, balancing tills at the end of each shift, and maintaining detailed transaction records. The teller will answer customer inquiries, provide clear explanations of rates and fees, and support customers in using Coin Nerds’ platform and services. The position also involves monitoring market rates, following company security procedures, and collaborating with branch team members to ensure an efficient, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and handle in-person inquiries with professionalism.
• Cash handling, point-of-sale, and basic accounting skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in balancing tills and processing transactions.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange processes and a strong interest in cryptocurrency, with a willingness to learn company-specific products and tools.
• Comfort with computers and digital platforms, including the ability to navigate online financial systems and follow security best practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Mississauga, ON on a full-time schedule, including potential evenings and weekends as business needs require.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Previous experience in banking, money exchange, retail financial services, or related fields is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in finance, business, or a related area are an advantage.
