As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of the client experience during one of the most important stages of our relationship: getting started. You’ll guide new clients through account setup, documentation, training, and implementation while partnering with our Global Trade and Logistics Specialists and internal teams. What You'll Do

Prepare legal documentation in accordance with CBSA requirements.
Guide new clients through account setup, documentation, and required processes.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding period.
Provide training, resources, and support to help clients understand Cole’s services.
Coordinate with Operations, Accounting, and other internal teams to ensure information and materials are prepared and delivered on time.
Support Global Trade and Logistics Specialists with post-sale activities.
Track onboarding progress and follow up to keep implementation milestones on schedule.
Maintain accurate onboarding records in CRM and other software systems.
Identify issues, coordinate solutions, and help ensure a smooth handoff to ongoing service teams.
Build positive client experiences that strengthen trust and long-term partnerships.
Share feedback and identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes.

What You'll Bring

A university degree, college diploma, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Experience in client onboarding, account coordination, customer success, or a related role; experience in customs brokerage or logistics is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience working with CRM systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
A practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving.
The ability to adapt and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Sound judgment, discretion, accountability, and dependability.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and business partners.
The ability to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments.
General business knowledge and the ability to work effectively across departments.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingual English/French skills are preferred but not required.
