We are looking for a Security Business Analyst to bridge the gap between traditional business analysis and a strong security foundation. The role focuses on ensuring that business requirements for Client Identity and Access Management (CIAM) align with stringent security controls and complex technical use cases.
You will translate requirements from business stakeholders, development teams, and security experts to ensure identity products are user-centric and technically sound. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, proactive problem-solver, and comfortable navigating authentication protocols while ensuring a seamless and secure digital experience.
Responsibilities
- CIAM Translation: Act as the primary liaison between business units and security engineering, translating complex client identity needs into feasible, secure solutions.
- Project Delivery: Support critical initiatives driving digital authentication strategy, including unified direct-to-consumer client applications, stronger and phishing-resistant authentication, dynamic fraud controls such as two-way notifications, and expansion of Ping to strengthen enterprise fraud and identity tooling.
- Access Risk Analysis: Analyze access management, encryption, and authentication practices to identify security risks within client-facing platforms.
- Standardization: Develop standardized security product requirements for Digital Identity and Access Management (DIAM) and produce metrics to measure performance against those requirements.
- Process Enhancement: Research and analyze opportunities to improve identity workflows and drive efficiency without compromising security.
- Product Roadmap: Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the Client Identity product, managing delivery at the component and phase levels.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage identity product activities throughout the product lifecycle, including defining requirements and collaborating with engineers and UX designers on digital projects.
- Fraud Prevention: Support the integration and enhancement of fraud detection systems through new tools and capabilities to help reduce monetary fraud losses.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong partnerships with teams and stakeholders that depend on Identity, Application, and Offensive Security services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of Business Analysis experience, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Digital Identity.
- Foundational understanding of authentication protocols, including OIDC, SAML, and OAuth, along with data privacy regulations.
- IIBA certifications (CCBA/CBAP), security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, or CIAM-specific training are considered an asset.
The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements. Benefit eligibility and offerings vary based on role, employment status, and work location.
For contractor positions, benefits are limited to those entitlements and protections required by applicable law, which may include (as applicable) vacation pay, public holidays, leaves of absence, and other legally mandated benefits or payments.
