Infrastructure Engineer/ Tanium Engineer/ Vulnerability Management Engineer

Role: Infrastructure Engineer/ Tanium Engineer/ Vulnerability Management Engineer/ Endpoint Engineer

Contract: 6 months to start, with extension

Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid- 5x/Month in office

Compensation: $75-$80/hour

Start date: ASAP

Interview Process: 2 rounds - one In person and one Virtual

Day to day:

• Understanding the current environment, platform, servers, etc. , i.e. how many servers, what exposure would there be when alarms go off - deal with vulnerabilities as they surface.
• Understand what's at risk different platforms or understand security concepts.
• Tanium Engineers will work with Vulnerability Management teams who aren't technically deep, nor are platform or engineer folks.
• How do I design how Tanium will feed the different platforms that Vulnerability Management (VM) teams are going to consume.
• Automate components using AAP2 automation platform
• Will work closely with current Tanium Engineer and will follow his instructions.
• Help with area Tanium doesn't yet have access to.
• Look at what they can do proactively and what configurations they can do ahead of time.
• Look at how they are to present data to VM teams - how many systems they have, what the need.
• How to leverage AI moving to SaaS in a few months.

Must-haves:

• 10 years engineering experiencing with solid and broad understanding of infrastructure.
• Different platforms, base operation systems (Linux, Windows - Shell, Powershell)- Networking, firewall, infrastructure stacks on top of OS: Jboss, Tomcat,
• Tanium - experience knowing how to feed the tool, what to build, build interfaces, leverage Tanium modules, design capabilities
• Ansible Automation Platform experience - AAP2 ideally, experience

Nice-to-haves:

• Someone who thinks differently, thinks forward into AI and working towards tools that are self-learning.
• Container knowledge/experience
