OpenStack Expert:
- Looking for a technical expert on OpenStack (very important)
- Must have participated in a project to build, maintain, upgrade, update or modified/ built an OpenStack solution (not just using an OpenStack solution); understanding services and how it works
- OpenStack is key - must operate inside OpenStack; understand the environment
- Can be located anywhere in Quebec
- Open to a System Admin profile
- Operating hands-on support, scripting, and administration
- Main services: VM machines - Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Horizon
- Native French speaker (team is 100% in France)
The essentials:
- You have a background in computer science with more than 5 years of experience,
- You have good analytical and problem-solving skills,
- You want to join a structure of experts with a strong taste for Open Source,
- You are able to learn quickly and you have good adaptability skills to navigate in a changing structure
- You speak professional English.
Orchestrate deployments and maintenance (MCO)
- Coordinate technical interventions within the different teams. Ensure the operational readiness of projects in production. Manage risks, arbitrate technical decisions, and ensure compliance with performance criteria.
Manage support and incident handling
- Supervise and resolve critical incidents under time constraints. Conduct root cause analyses (post-mortem). Propose and monitor improvement plans to prevent recurrence. Communicate crucial information to clients according to the severity of the event.
Industrialize processes and automation
- Reduce manual tasks through scripting and orchestration tools. Write and maintain scripts/tools (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform). Design reproducible and secure environments (Infrastructure as Code).
Ensure quality
- Control the conformity of deliverables to internal and contractual standards.
- Ensure that the implementation and monitoring of the supervision and monitoring of our services are always complete, accurate and up-to-date.
- Develop best practices with cross-functional teams.
Guarantee delivery and customer satisfaction
- Serve as the primary technical contact. Analyze needs, validate commitments, and ensure transparent communication until project completion. Provide guidance and expertise to business and sales teams.
Technical Environments:
- OS / Administration: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
- Hardware & Virtualization: CPU/GPU Architectures, High-Performance Storage, HPC, etc.
- Cloud / IaaS: OpenStack
- Automation & IaC: Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Kubernetes (K8S)
- Programming / Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell
- Network & Security (DevOps): Deployment, Operations, Network Security
Salary: $120K + Benefits
