Job Overview

We are looking for a strong Project Management/Project Coordination profile with a technical or engineering background. The ideal candidate will have experience managing internal projects, planning and scheduling activities, coordinating multiple teams, and ensuring project timelines and priorities are met.

Candidates with hands-on technical/testing experience, particularly in testing, laboratory operations, automotive, or battery testing, will be preferred. However, strong project management experience is the primary requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate internal projects, timelines, priorities, and technical workflows.
  • Handle project planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple teams.
  • Work closely with the following teams within the lab:
  • Automation & Data Management
  • Pack Test
  • Cell Test
  • Instrumentation
  • Coordinate internal activities and ensure projects progress according to planned timelines.
  • Manage priorities, resources, risks, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support coordination of technical and testing activities within the lab.
  • Work with the Instrumentation team on activities related to operational and equipment issues, as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, project coordination, project engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, coordination, and timeline management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and technical workflows.
  • Technical or engineering background, preferably with experience in testing, laboratory operations, automotive, or battery-related environments.
  • Hands-on technical/testing experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ownership of projects, including timelines, priorities, resources, risks, and issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a testing lab, automotive environment, Tier 1 supplier, or battery testing environment.
  • A combination of hands-on testing experience and project management responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel to US sites when required. Travel is expected to be limited and infrequent.

Work Environment

The role primarily focuses on internal project coordination and collaboration across multiple teams within the lab rather than external project management.

Interview Process

The interview will include standard corporate interview questions, along with resume-specific questions to understand the candidate's previous experience, project ownership, and responsibilities.

The expected base salary range for this position is $40 – $43 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.

The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements. Benefit eligibility and offerings vary based on role, employment status, and work location.

For contractor positions, benefits are limited to those entitlements and protections required by applicable law, which may include (as applicable) vacation pay, public holidays, leaves of absence, and other legally mandated benefits or payments.

We may use AI-enabled and/or automated tools to support parts of our recruitment process, including application screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications. These tools are used to enhance consistency and efficiency. All hiring decisions involve human review and are not based solely on automated processing.
