Original job description

The expected base salary range for this position is $90/Hr - $95/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IAM Systems Engineer - Advanced to support enterprise authentication and identity access management initiatives.
The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in RSA authentication technologies, with strong hands-on experience implementing, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting authentication services across complex enterprise environments.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and platform groups to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and operationally ready authentication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full lifecycle of authentication-service implementations, including business/project handoff, installation, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Serve as a subject matter expert on RSA SecurID, RSA Authentication Manager, and RSA Cloud Authentication Service.
Configure, customize, integrate, troubleshoot, and support RSA authentication platforms across enterprise environments.
Provide technical guidance related to performance, scalability, reliability, security, and operational readiness.
Participate in architecture, solution design, and technology discussions for new authentication solutions and enhancements.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business units, technology teams, and platform groups.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical deliverables and ensure IAM initiatives align with enterprise procedures, standards, and processes.
Support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, risk remediation, and continuous improvement of authentication services.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, standardization, and engineering best practices.
Contribute to technical documentation, implementation standards, and operational procedures.
Manage multiple priorities while working effectively across technical and business teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Experience designing, developing, and tuning highly scalable authentication or security systems.
Experience with cloud security, identity security, and modern authentication architectures.
Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Knowledge of authorization engines and policy-based access control.
Experience with automation, scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or DevOps practices.
Experience influencing technical decisions across multiple functions and business areas.

Relevant IAM/security certifications such as:

CISSP
CISM
Vendor-specific RSA certifications

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is a senior IAMC/authentication engineer with strong hands-on expertise in RSA Authentication Manager and RSA Cloud Authentication Service, combined with a solid understanding of modern authentication and federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, MFA, and SSO.
The candidate should be comfortable operating across architecture, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, production support, and continuous improvement activities within a large enterprise environment.
