Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) available for the Langley area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.
As a Caregiver you will make a difference in your clients lives by:
- Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team
- Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation
- Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
- Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
- Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc
- Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care
- Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
- Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings

Job Requirements:
- Driver's License and own vehicle is a bonus!

- HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number is a MUST
- Current First Aid and CPR Training
- Criminal Record Check
- Fluent in both Spanish and English is a bonus!

Responsibilities
Provide personal care and home support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting, meals, shopping, and laundry. Observe and report changes, encourage client independence, contribute to care planning, maintain a safe environment, and transport clients to appointments and outings.
Requirements
A Health Care Assistant (HCA) certificate and BC Registry Number, current First Aid and CPR training, a criminal record check, and access to a mobile phone are required. A driver's license and personal vehicle are a bonus; Spanish and English fluency is also a bonus.
