Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) available for the Vancouver area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.

Our office serves seniors in Vancouver and surrounding communities, including Richmond, Vancouver. This position may require travel to those areas – we do our best to match you with clients in your area.
Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) available for the Vancouver area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.
As a Caregiver you will make a difference in your clients lives by:
- Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team
- Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation
- Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
- Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
- Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc
- Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care
- Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
- Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings

Job Requirements:
- Driver's License and own vehicle is a bonus!
- Genuinely concerned about helping people

- HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number is a MUST
- Current First Aid and CPR Training

- Available in the morning and weekend

Responsibilities
Provide personal care and home support to clients, including assistance with daily activities, household tasks, companionship, and transportation to appointments or outings. Observe and report changes in clients’ condition, encourage their independence, and contribute to care planning in collaboration with the health care team and caregivers.
Requirements
A Health Care Assistant (HCA) certificate and BC Registry Number are required, along with current First Aid and CPR training and a criminal record check. Applicants must be genuinely interested in helping people, have access to a mobile phone, and be available mornings and weekends; a driver’s license and personal vehicle are a bonus.
