Availability: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1530
- Shifts will vary in times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.
Your Must-Haves:
- BC Security License
- Hold OFA 1
- Lived in Canada for 5+ years for clearance purposes
- Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations
- Excellent communication skills
- Escort individuals to and from Uncontrolled Areas
- Prior to entering the Restricted Area and/or Sterile Area, verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & stolen list
- Notify the correct parties when entering the facility and when leaving
- Ensure that Visual Contact is maintained while escorting construction workers using Temporary Passes
- Patrolling various sites/locations
- Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
- CCTV Monitoring
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor

Responsibilities
Escort individuals and construction workers between controlled and restricted areas, verify temporary passes, maintain visual contact, and notify relevant parties when entering or leaving facilities. Patrol multiple sites, monitor CCTV, provide customer service, respond to emergencies and conflicts, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a BC Security License and OFA Level 1 certification, have lived in Canada for at least five years for clearance purposes, and be available to work at various sites. Strong communication skills, flexibility, reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
