Original job description

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its Customer Focus Group (CFG) - a technical team that bridges engineering and the commercial side of the product. CFG members handle development, architecture, product, and direct customer interaction: translating customer needs into the product, building new features, and resolving pressing technical issues. The role needs a strong backend builder who can also take a holistic, product-and-customer view, with a focus on infrastructure, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Must-have skills:

Backend architecture - microservices, API design, and design patterns (deep understanding)
Node.js / TypeScript proficiency (or other relevant backend languages)
SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience scaling systems for high-volume data processing
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services - serverless computing, managed databases
5+ years of backend development, with a strong focus on customer-centric products
Proven problem-solving with a track record of performant, scalable solutions
Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent collaboration and communication with globally distributed teams

Nice-to-have skills:

Security / AppSec domain familiarity (OX is a security product)
Customer-facing / pre-sales technical experience
Experience bridging product and engineering
