This role is open to candidates based anywhere in Canada. While we are considering applicants from across the country, we have a strong preference for candidates located within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to support periodic in-office collaboration.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Content Design Manager to lead creative content development and visual storytelling. You’ll help bring our brand to life across digital and print channels - producing high-quality assets that support marketing campaigns, member education, and advisor engagement. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with both the marketing department as well as the entire organization you’ll maintain and evolve our content library while elevating visual design across all Common Wealth brands.

What you will do

Design & Production

Create marketing materials including brochures, case studies, pitch decks, social media graphics, and internal documents using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

Develop and scale visual assets for digital campaigns, lifecycle emails, educational resources, and advisor enablement.

Collaboration & Innovation

Partner with web developers to enhance the website’s visual identity and user experience.

Support the creation of engaging video content for member education and employer engagement.

Explore and apply AI tools to streamline content workflows and boost creative output.

Collaborate and influence the entire organization on the design work you are working on for our organization.

Brand & Asset Management

Maintain and evolve the internal library of marketing resources, templates, and brand toolkits.

Contribute to and uphold brand guidelines to ensure consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.

Who you are

A visual storyteller with a portfolio that reflects brand-aligned design and compelling content.

Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and basic video editing tools.

Experienced in applying and maintaining brand guidelines across digital and print mediums.

Detail-oriented, with a strong eye for consistency, typography, and layout.

Comfortable working across a range of content types: print, web, social, and video.

Leader in your space. You are able to communicate with others both internal and external to the organization about the design work you are executing as well as the work that others would lean on you for. You are forward thinking and can own the design work within Common Wealth.

A proactive collaborator who works effectively with cross-functional teams.

Curious and adaptable - always learning, experimenting, and embracing new design trends.

Familiar with or excited to explore AI-based tools to accelerate and elevate design workflows.

Organized and efficient when producing content at scale, with a focus on template creation and reusability.
