This is a posting for an existing vacancy.

We’re looking for a Manager, Learning & Development to help build the foundation of how we onboard, develop and grow talent, while modernizing how learning drives capability across our business.

This role goes beyond traditional training. You’ll partner with leaders to understand business needs, shape meaningful learning & development strategies, and build scalable programs that improve performance, from frontline teams to senior leaders. You’ll play a key role in shaping how Compass Group Canada builds capability to support business growth creating learning that is structured, relevant, and embedded in how the business operates.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Manager, Learning & Development, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Build and scale core learning programs (onboarding, leadership development and employee experience) that create consistency across the organization
  • Lead end-to-end design, build and facilitation of face-to-face and virtual programs across Compass Group Canada
  • Own, create, and develop learning programs for all levels; from frontline associates to senior leaders
  • Partner with People & Culture and business leaders to diagnose capability gaps and translate them into practical learning solutions
  • Design high-impact, blended programs that drive real behaviour change, not content delivery
  • Evolve learning from one-time training to continuous, on-the-job development
  • Strengthen the learning experience through modern tools, platforms, and scalable delivery models
  • Drive adoption and measure impact, linking learning to performance, engagement, and business outcomes

Think you have what it takes to be our Manager, Learning & Development? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:

  • 8+ years of experience developing and facilitating learning programs in a corporate environment

  • Degree or diploma; certification in Adult Education or Instructional Design is an asset
