How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will

Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residentsâ€™ rooms and common areas.
Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About You

You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of residents’ rooms, common areas, and the kitchen, and assist with food preparation and dining area setup and cleanup. Serve meals, deliver trays to residents, wash dishes, follow health and safety guidelines, and promptly report injuries or hazards.

Requirements

A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is required. Housekeeping or food services experience is an asset, healthcare or long-term care experience is preferred, and candidates should communicate in English and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
