How You Will Make An Impact
You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.
As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will
- Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen, service areas and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of kitchen and service work areas, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
- Food prep includes but not limited to: grill service of breakfast & lunch, salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc
- Strict adherence to food safety practices, tracking and documentation
- You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
- Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness of kitchens, service areas, and equipment while assisting with food preparation, meal service, kitchen setup and cleanup, and dishwashing. Follow food safety and health and safety procedures, document food safety activities, and promptly report injuries and hazards.
Requirements
A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is required, along with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Housekeeping or food service experience is an asset, healthcare or long-term care experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
