Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards. Your enthusiasm for food service and commitment to food safety will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment where teamwork and quality are at the forefront.

The hourly wage for this role is $17.60. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and efficiency
Cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
Support the team during busy service hours by executing orders quickly and accurately
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe kitchen environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service

Experience

Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important
Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation standards
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure
